Another Land is a series of three black and white triptych photographs based on paintings by Hieronymus Bosch. Three of the medieval artist’s works, The Garden of Earthly Delights, The Temptation of St Anthony and The Last Judgement have been emptied of their human content, creating post-apocalyptic scenes that transform what was a stage or background into the main component of the image.

The monograph Another Land contains essays by David Burrows (artist, writer and Professor of Fine Art at the Slade, London); Joseph Leo Koerner (Professor in the History of Art and Architecture at Harvard University); Anita Phillips (author of A Defence of Masochism) and John Stezaker (artist and former Senior Tutor at the Royal College of Art). Published by Mantis, Another Land contains fold-out reproductions of each photograph, seventeen details and two earlier works in the series.
